About the Provider
Victor Soria, MD, is an internal medicine physician with three decades of experience - two of those committed to serving the people of San Antonio. After earning his medical degree in Mexico, Dr. Soria’s medical internship and residency were in Buffalo, New York. He began his career in private practice in a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee before relocating to San Antonio to join a medical group. He has also gained valuable insights in caring for patients as a hospitalist and nursing home medical director.
Dr. Soria treats adults with a focus on preventive care to not only maintain good health, but to prevent complications from chronic diseases. He has a special interest in working with patients in managing their diabetes, encouraging them to learn about their respective conditions and to be motivated to make informed choices.
Dr. Soria considers his relationship with each patient to be a partnership based on their trust of him: to understand their fears; to listen and to hear their concerns; to respect their beliefs; and to provide them care and a helping hand through illness. Dr. Soria is fluent in Spanish and English.
